Intensive Outpatient Drug Rehab Florida
Outpatient Drug Treatment at Destination Hope
At Destination Hope, our intensive outpatient drug rehab program, often referred to as IOP, is an intermediate level of care that involves fewer hours of therapy than full time programs such as our residential-style treatment. The outpatient program is ideal for clients that are graduating from our drug and alcohol rehab program, and are looking for continued support while they return to their work, school, or family obligations. The program is also well suited for new clients that are further along in their recovery and need a less structured program to remain sober. Outpatient drug rehab focuses specifically on relapse-prevention, coping skills and education about addictions making it an effective tool to combat many forms of addiction.
Destination Hope’s intensive outpatient drug treatment program is for clients who need the flexibility of work and daily commitments, but are also in need of substance abuse and addiction treatment. Our Intensive Outpatient Program has many of the same benefits as our residential-style treatment including:
Size: Limited treatment group sizes offer more personal attention. As a result, we are able to fully analyze clients and provide a supportive environment that often empowers the individual. They will be able to live out their day to day life with a greater sense of accountability when they are away from their therapeutic group.
Gender specific: A gender specific program offers a less distracting environment so that recovery is always the primary goal. This exclusivity keeps the group more open to instruction and guidance and inclined to share their experiences and struggles without the fear of embarrassment and grow as a community. We offer both men’s and women’s outpatient drug treatment programs.
Family therapy: Our unique outpatient drug treatment program also focuses on the family and issues surrounding family dynamics. We stand by our strong philosophy that a supportive family unit can make all the difference in the life of a recovering addict. When possible and necessary, family members are encouraged to participate in their loved one’s therapy. With patience and guidance, bonds that may have been severed or deeply damaged can be restored and true healing can begin – in the both the addict and the family as a whole.
Our intensive outpatient drug rehab program requires a commitment of at least six weeks. Group and individual therapy sessions are held during convenient hours three days per week for three to four hours. Most of our clients attend IOP in the evenings, but we also offer a day program. Because of the part-time nature of the treatment, clients often find this option most convenient in order to maintain work and school schedules while pursuing much needed recovery. While this program is more flexible, it still provides ample help for anyone seeking freedom from chemical dependency.
If you or someone you know could benefit from our IOP program, feel free to call us or invite them to learn more about our programs and treatments. We are happy to provide feedback and assist you with any questions you have. The first step to a life of healthy recovery is acknowledging the problem – but the very next step is to take action. We can provide you or your loved one with the resources, help and ability to succeed on the road to recovery.
