The drug and alcohol rehab facility is dedicated to recovery of the men that put their trust in Destination Hope and as a result, the treatment is focused and effective. Only group rooms and therapists’ offices are located here. While we believe in personal care and attention, our clients do spend a portion of their time in group settings which allows us to see their interactions with others, allowing us to better diagnose any co-occurring disorders that they may have. Our aim is to establish responsibility and foster healthy relationships between our clients. This promotes healthy social habits as our clients graduate from the program. Reentering the world outside of a drug and alcohol rehab facility becomes that much easier as a result.
Additionally, our male clients have this part of the drug and alcohol rehab facility to themselves – our women’s program is located elsewhere. We have found that the separation of genders can reduce any awkwardness associated with group settings.
Administrative and non-treatment related personnel are located in an adjacent building. While clients and non-treatment personnel tend to interact in a friendly and supportive manner, we find that this separation is a great way to immerse clients in their recovery program without distraction. As clients progress through treatment, the need for such thorough immersion is lessened and their environment and interactions can begin to expand with trips to public locations and fun and interactive excursions.
You’ll find that the treatment center is staffed by employees who truly care about their clients. The atmosphere is positive and upbeat and every client has a say in his recovery.
Community Housing Facilities:
Our community housing drug and alcohol rehab facilities are similarly tailored to create a sense of normalcy and mimic life outside of treatment. Apartments are located nearby the treatment center and are furnished with appropriate décor. Clients are encouraged to take care of their living spaces as if they were at home and ultimately have responsibility for the cleanliness of their living quarters.
